When a person creates something that changes the world…
Does he know it? Can a person really comprehend the impact of a creation that came from a dream? That a thought could actually shift reality? That intention brought about true change?
Does that person understand the world’s gratitude? What amount of thanks is needed to grasp the effect a person has had on the entire world?
Or does a genius keep plodding on because they think that what they’ve accomplished isn’t good enough? Do they feel the ineptitude of time, the brevity of life and the inability to do all things at once? When do they realize their greatness? How do they know?
Great fodder, Tesz. Interesting take/reflection on Steve Jobs’ footprint.
Thank you! I always wonder what motivates someone to keep pushing themselves to greatness. Was his desire to redesign our technological lives a pleasant or daunting experience?
I’ve always asked my self something similar, like when I get to tomorrow, will I still be me? Will it be ME that is doing those things, or something else? Everytime I reach tomorrow it is still me that is there, looking back at my self as the same person. But still I have to ask. Both answers always seem possible…
Wow, you’re right. I believe we’re the same essence running through all the molecules which are constantly changing, dying and regenerating. It’s like new thoughts and discoveries redefine who we are, but it is still the same ultimate consciousness which drives us through this one specific lifetime we’ve been granted. Wonderful thought, Qahiri!
